The Nice Place Foundation firmly believes in the transformative power of education and recognize the pressing need to address the challenges faced by vulnerable students. Our scholarship program aims to provide educational opportunities to bright and needy students, with a particular focus on those affected by gender inequities, poverty, and the impact of climate change.

Scholarship Objectives

Our scholarship program emphasizes equal opportunities for girls and boys, recognizing the need for gender parity and empowerment with a specific focus on addressing gender inequities, poverty, and the impact of climate change on pastoral communities while ensuring a fair and inclusive selection process by:

Scholarships for Needy Students

Offering scholarships to bright and needy students, enabling them to pursue quality education.

Ending Gender Inequities

Addressing gender inequities by focusing on girls affected by practices such as female genital mutilation and early marriages.

Education for Impoverished Youth

Supporting students from impoverished backgrounds, giving them access to educational opportunities they would otherwise be denied.

Mentorship for Academic Growth

Foster academic growth and personal development through in-school mentorship programs and regular evaluation of students' academic progress.

Identification of Need

The Nice Place Foundation (NPF) identifies students who are in need of financial assistance to continue their education. NPF conducts research and collaborates with local schools and communities to identify deserving students.

Application Process

NPF announces the scholarship program through various channels, including school announcements, community meetings, and social media. Interested students fill out the scholarship application form provided by NPF.

Leadership Training for Graduates

We conduct school visits and organize parent meetings to strengthen collaboration and ensure excellence. In addition, mentorship sessions are held at the Nice Place Foundation center during every holiday to promote school retention and monitor the overall well-being of the beneficiaries. Beyond this, all beneficiaries who complete Form 4 are given priority for leadership training, equipping them not only to advance in their education but also to gain the skills and confidence needed to become change-makers within their communities.
