What is Nice Place Foundation and what does it stand for?

Nice Place Foundation (NPF) is a community-based organization dedicated to protecting girls
and young women from harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and child
marriage, while fostering leadership, education, and sustainable livelihoods.

Our mission is to protect at-risk girls, nurture their resilience, and empower them to become transformational leaders through education, advocacy, and entrepreneurial training, creating a sustainable legacy of change in their communities.

NPF implements a range of programs including:

Our programs primarily support girls and young women who are vulnerable to gender-based
violence, harmful cultural practices, and socio-economic marginalization, while also engaging
families and communities as key stakeholders.

NPF is governed by a Board of Directors that provides strategic oversight. The Foundation
adheres to transparent financial and programmatic accountability systems, ensuring resources are
effectively utilized and results are measurable.

Yes. NPF collaborates with government agencies, civil society organizations, international
partners, and community leaders to maximize impact and sustainability.

Engagement opportunities include volunteering, professional partnerships, sponsoring programs,

The Academy is NPF’s flagship leadership development program that equips young women with
skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy, Environmental Conservation and personal

NPF has provided safe shelter and protection for vulnerable girls, trained cohorts of emerging
women leaders, engaged thousands of community members through outreach, and amplified
voices against FGM and child marriage through media and advocacy platforms.
